Skillet Bacon Jam [Review]

You are probably wondering what is this Skillet bacon jam business all about? It is a yummmmy product that is for sure!! In 2007, Chef Josh Henderson created Skillet Street Food in Seattle, one of the first food experiences of what has since become a prototype for the national street food movement that has swept the country .  Out of a vintage Airstream trailer, he created innovative lunch menus based on American-inspired food prepared with classic technique and seasonal ingredients! Long story short.Skillet Bacon Jam came to be! .. Skillet Bacon Jam has niman ranch bacon, onions, balsamic and other spices! I am going to go ahead and say..when I got this product in the mail, I was hesitant, then I sucked it up and tried it! I LOVE IT! This product is awesome! You can use is to cook with and or eat it out of the jar. Here are some awesome recipes too. If you wanna venture out and try something different try it! You can view more products here as well!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

  1. Now, I'm not sure if I'd like the original flavor you reviewed, but after checking out the other products, I think I might enjoy the fennel and black pepper bacon spread. The other spreads (like pumpkin) sound good, too. But I'd most like to give this as a gift at the holidays. I think it would be something everyone would be talking about at our family gift exchange.

  3. I love bacon jam! I make my own...had no idea that you could actually buy it. The Bacon Jam on Toast Rounds with Fried Eggs looks delicious!

  8. When I read the title of the post, I though it was a recipe review of some sort. Very unique product and something not many people enjoy using. I would buy it just for the bacon :)

  11. I keep seeing this on Tomoson, but I have yet to be able to qualify to review it. It sounds awesome, but do you think it would be alright for people with gluten issues?

  12. They are putting bacon in and on everything now so this seems like a great idea. America does love bacon! I love bacon, too, just typically by itself. I am interested in this product though. I can see where it would be great especially if it tastes like bacon right from the skillet. I can see people spreading this on toast, pancakes, or simply eating it.
