Friday, July 5, 2013 Prepaid Card Review is the new and convenient way to pay for your items and not have to worry about the hassle of opening a bank account or having cash. These prepaid cards are simple and easy to use! When you use all loaded funds are 100% FDIC insured. You can load money using western union, direct deposit or you can buy a GreenDot card and load too! There is a monthly fee of $5.95 but they will waive your monthly account fee of $5.95 when you load at least $800 in the prior 30 days through direct deposit. You can cancel it at any time.
There is no check fees with and there is no fee ( other than the monthly $5.95 fee) if you just decide to load money and save your money wisely
There is a huge gallery of cards that you can choose from! I love how you can pick a card that is right and cute for you!
I was recently given the chance to review! I was given a pre-loaded card and I was excited to receive it in the mail. This card is one of the Garfield prepaid cards that has to offer! Please excuse how it is slightly distorted. I had to protect my privacy =) Signing up for this card was quick and simple! Using it was easy too!
When I activated my card, I was able to create an account online and view my balance! I thought that was pretty neat! I was also able to make myself my own pin. The first thing that I done was purchase a few items with giftcards that I had online and used this card to pay the remaining balance! THEN we went to get some frozen yogurt and topped off the gas tank on the way home!
The card was simple to use and the items bought took off of the balance immediately. Nothing pending for a few days so you know exactly what you have to work with after your purchases. The only thing I did NOT like about this card is that it is a $3.00 FEE to get cash back at the counter and $1.00 to check what is left on your card if you call or do it at an ATM. I recommend checking your balance online because you will not be charged for it. It also cost $3.00 to withdraw money from an ATM. I do wish it were lower because it is too high in my honest opinion. Overall, I did have a great experience with
Check them out and follow on their social media~! I know that you will like them as much as I do too!

*Disclaimer: The Small Things received a complementary pre-loaded card from to review. I simply gave my honest opinion of the product in return. All thoughts are my own and may differ from others*

  1. By far the WORST company I have EVER had the displeasure of dealing with. After 2 months of NOT receiving a card; and NUMEROUS phone calls. I was fed up. Well, while interacting with their customer service I was treated absolutely HORRIBLE. (Ie; hung up on, yelled at, cursed at, never received a call back from a supervisor, etc). Finally, after deciding to close the account and cut ties with this HORRID company, I called back to verify that the account was closed and that my money was being sent back to the IRS, to which I encountered the sweetest CSR. She was compassionate, and absolutely aware of her companies policies (which is more than I can say about the 12 other CSR's I encountered.) She informed me that my address was STILL incorrect after calling and changing this AT LEAST 10 times. Which is absolutely ridiculous and UNACCEPTABLE. Had of hired more people like her, they would probably still have my business. I cut ties based on the way I was treated. As someone that has worked in a Call Center before, I understand the frustrations of being a CSR. However, the consumers are the reason that job is available to begin with, and treating them as dirt is ABSOLUTELY unacceptable. Not knowing the policies and protocols are also UNACCEPTABLE.
This card is an ABSOLUTE scam. I will NEVER refer anyone to use this card. In fact, I will be spending the rest of the day posting my story on EVERY social media site and website having to do with this card and the ungodly customer service that I received. I am absolutely HORRIFIED by this company (excluding Kirra: she was awesome). I will also be contacting the BBB and directly referring to your customer service department. Absolutely unacceptable. I do not want ANY contact from unless it is done so directly through corporate.

    1. well i am sorry you had that issue. I however have had a great experience with them. I even ordered another card and have been a long term customer with them.
Just because you had a bad experience doesn't mean we all will.

    2. I just set up my direct deposit is it alright?

    3. I have my Paypal deposits go on my card and I have been fine. =)
