We also received the Octonauts Octopod Playset for review, our nephew, Phoenix loved it! He couldn't stop playing with it.  
 
Send the figures sliding down from the pods and into the Launch Bay where they can report for duty and ready the Gup-A for their rescue mission! Place Kwazii or Barnacles inside the Gup and turn the lever to launch the vehicle down the escape hatch and out of the Octopod!
Lift and lower the rescue tools to bring creatures back to safety. The Octopod includes over 10 play pieces including Barnacles, Kwazii, a mini GUP-A, 3 creatures, 4 rescue tools and a clip-on Octo-Alert that features phrases and sounds!  
Phoenix LOVED his new Octonauts Octopod Playset!!! All he could keep saying was "Octonauts!!" over and over again. It really put a smile on my face seeing him play with it. He knew exactly what he was doing and even helped me put the stickers on it. I love that that is all I had to do was put stickers on it. Tyler Perry's A Madea Christmas #HoNoSheDidnt

We went to see A Madea Christmas this weekend!! Madea gets coaxed into helping a friend pay her daughter a surprise visit in the country for Christmas, but the biggest surprise is what they'll find when they arrive. As the small, rural town prepares for its annual Christmas Jubilee, new secrets are revealed and old relationships are tested while Madea dishes her own brand of Christmas Spirit to all.

I always love how the Tyler Perry movies have a serious side ( the story) and yet they are funny too. This movie is a family fun movie BUT not for the little kids. The movie features issues like religious versus secular celebrations of Christmas, interracial relationships in the deep South, and honesty between parents and children. In my opinion- a movie for the "teen" generation, unless you are ready to talk to your child about "sex".  There are sexual references and language, but it is a Madea movie. That is quite common. Crude humor, but I like it! This movie is great for a date night!! Tyler Perry's A Madea Christmas is rated PG- 13 and runs about 100 minutes. Faux Frosting Mirror and iPhone Case

I was browsing crafty things on Instagram and came across something that I wanted to try. After much research, I figured it out and was able to make a few things with stuff I already had around the house. I do want to know if you all would like me to do a tutorial on making faux frosting.
I had an old iPhone 4 case that I did not like. It was sitting in a drawer so instead of going on Amazon or Ebay and buying clear or white ones, I came up with the idea to re-purpose this. I put my "frosting" and sprinkles on and allowed to dry and it is ready for use. Completely adorable. 
As you can see below I took a compact mirror that I already had and put my "frosting" on it and put the little jewels or AKA "sprinkles" on it to give it more of a cupcake effect. I allowed to dry for a few hours and it was ready for use!
The "frosting" is so realistic and feels squishy. I love it!! I do not want to give out much more about it because I wanted to ask you all if you would like to see a tutorial on this? 2013 Toyota RAV4 XLE Review

Recently I was emailed and given the opportunity to review a brand new 2013 Toyota Rav4 XLE. I was given the chance to work with Prestige on behalf of Toyota on reviewing this car. When they called to set up delivery of the car, it was a complete concierge experience! The SUV was delivered clean, with a full tank of gas and the gentleman that delivered the car were very nice and helpful with going over things about the SUV! When the car arrived I immediately noticed the beautiful red color. 
 This is Toyota’s fourth-generation RAV4. This SUV has great fuel efficiency. They dropped it off with a full tank of gas and we drove around anywhere and everywhere with it, and still had about 1/4 of a tank when they picked it up! We drove the car in ECO Mode, so that is probably why. Driving in ECO Mode maximizes MPG!  It uses about 3.8 gallons per 100 miles and 26 mpg combined city and highway.
 
As you can see, the front seats feature bucket seats.  It also has premium fabric with French stitching on the seats and portions of the dash panels.
I loved the soft touch of the interior and the sleek design inside! RAV4's dash panel and gauges all feature a new Clear Blue illumination. It looks beautiful when lit up at night. It has a manual tilt/telescope steering column, and a urethane steering wheel.  All RAV4 steering wheels will have controls for audio, Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio, and the Multi-Information Display! This was a cool feature. Talking hands free without risking an accident was a plus for us!
 The touch screen display featured a GPS and Sirius Radio. It also had an option to connect your phone and get on APPS via your phones data connection. The Toyota RAV4 also has a rear backup camera! I had never driven a car with a back up camera before! This was so neat!
The back of the SUV also has over 38.4 cu. ft. of cargo capacity behind the rear seats.  With rear seats folded, RAV4 has class-leading maximum cargo capacity of 73.4 cu. ft. As you can see below, this is the only stock photo that I used, seeing all of the items in the back of the car shows how much space there is!
All 2013 RAV4s have eight standard airbags: dual stage advanced driver and front passenger airbags, front seat-mounted airbags, first and second row side curtain airbags, driver knee airbag and front passenger seat cushion airbag. This SUV drove so smooth. My husband said it was like riding on clouds! That may be because RAV4 has a MacPherson strut front suspension that delivers smooth suspension movements.  I have to agree with him. It has a six-speed transmission. First and second gear ratios are optimized for around-town performance. To enhance highway fuel mileage, fifth and sixth gears are overdrives. The RAV4 has a four- cylinder engine which produces 176 SAE net horsepower at 6000 rpm and 172 lbs-ft. of torque at 4,100 rpm.  Another thing that I did like about the car was it conveniently has a Keyless Entry System. The Toyota Rav4 is available in eight colors and the fabric is available in two. The MSRP is $24,160!

I recently received a $50 Best Buy gift card for doing a blog job this past month. My husband went and were browsing Blu-ray's and I came across Despicable Me 2! I LOVE the first one so we just had to buy this one too! Gru, his adorable girls, and the mischievous Minions are back with a cast of unforgettable new characters in the blockbuster sequel to the worldwide phenomenon.  Just as Gru has given up being super-bad to be a super-dad, the Anti-Villain League recruits him to track down a new criminal mastermind and save the world.   Partnered with secret agent Lucy Wilde, Gru, along with the wildly unpredictable Minions, must figure out how to keep his cover while also keeping up with his duties as a father.

Despicable Me 2 is adorable! I love love love the minions!  There was not a moment in this movie that I did not laugh. The story line is completely adorable and entertains a family for the while movie!

Now if you drool over Johnny Depp like I do, you will love this movie- and if you don't, well.. you will love it anyway because it is that awesome!  Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer star in The Lone Ranger, from Jerry Bruckheimer Films and Director Gore Verbinski. It’s a wild ride of high velocity action, explosions and gunfights that brings the famed masked legend to life through brand-new eyes. 
The Lone Ranger (Hammer), the last of his kind, teams with Tonto (Depp), a dark and mysterious vigilante, to seek vengeance after justice has failed them. It’s a runaway train of epic surprises, as these two unlikely heroes must learn to work together before the ultimate showdown between good and evil explodes. Check out a few behind the scenes photos!
This movie is rated PG-13 For Sequences Of Intense Action and Violence, and Some Suggestive Material and is about 2 hr and 29 min long. I love how action packed this was and how Johnny Depp is a natural when it comes to playing his roles in movies! This movie is a great movie for family fun! Mary Poppins 50th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray Combo Pack

If you didn't know, Mary Poppins is the title character of a series of children's books written by P. L. Travers! Mary Poppins was made into a film based on the series of children's books by Walt Disney Productions in 1964. Mary Poppins is the main character of the books, a magical nanny who sweeps into the Banks home of Cherry Tree Lane and takes charge of the Banks children. 


She never openly acknowledges her strange and magical powers, and feigns insult when one of the children refers to her previous adventures. She flies in on an umbrella, and departs when the children have learnt enough lessons and promises to return whenever they need her. The movie combines songs, color and sequences of live action blended with the movements of animated figures. I just love all of the singing! The movie is nothing but family fun! 

Two of my favorite parts of the movies would be when they all sing Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!! See the clip below!! You won't be able to get it out of your head! 
And of course, we all can't forget the Penguin Dance!
