Recently, Lydia received one of the Newest- Hottest toys for a review! For nearly 20 years, LeapFrog has helped millions of children achieve their potential with award winning solutions. I am sure by now you have heard of the brand! As a mother, I am quite familiar! This year, LeapFrog introduces LeapBand, a new wearable activity tracker! This product has to be the coolest thing I have seen in quite sometime!
The Leapband is targeted for ages 4-7, however Lydia just turned 8. She still wanted it so I went ahead and got it. She is only going to be little for so long. After I seen the features- I could not resist! She was so stoked to receive it! The smile on her face tells it all.
The reason I wanted to get the LeapBand is because it is basically an activity tracker that gets her off of her little behind and moving! This awesome product has challenges and it tracks her moves! After you get your LeapBand, go to leapfrog.com/connect and download the Application for the band. You can then register and make yourself an account. This will download to your computer. Follow the on-screen instructions and you can set the LeapBand up!
I love the bedtime settings because I don't want to hear her sneaking and trying to play with it when she is trying to sleep. I don't have to worry about school settings because I do not allow her to take items like this to school. If you don't want to plug it into the computer, you can set it on the device directly! Silent Mode – hold left arrow button down for 5 seconds. This will put the device into and out of quiet mode. You can also add activities and challenges!
The application gives you the chance to add up to 50 activities and challenges! Here are just a few additional ones! They are so cute! I just love that the LeapBand isn't all play- It is giving her something to do. Something different to try!
Lydia can also earn points while playing with her virtual pet. The more active play she does she can earn virtual rewards and unlock more pets and  games as well as challenges!
I love that I can track her activity! It is a great feature!
The LeapBand also has a high‐resolution color screen, a rechargeable battery and water‐resistant design! The charge can last 3-4 days depending on her usage! Overall, I am happy with it! Not only is it a great product for my daughter, but with Christmas coming up- I am recommending this for everyone! This is a product that I personally think every kid should have in the home! You can find it at retailers near you for the retail price of $39.99! It is available in blue, pink and green! Visit www.leapfrog.com/LeapBand to learn more today!
