Aquarium Restaurant- Nashville, TN {#Review}

If you haven't head of the Aquarium Restaurant in Nashville, TN- you are missing out! It is an underwater adventure! It is a dining experience that I have never heard of until I was introduced to it. We were lucky enough to be able to go and feature it here for a review. If you haven't heard of it, in a nutshell here is some more info! Guests dine while seated around a 200,000-gallon tank, home to a wide variety of fish, sharks, stingrays and more! The bottom of the sea d├ęcor and inventive menu offer guests a dining experience like no other. The Nashville Aquarium is located in Opry Mills Mall, across from the Grand Old Opry and Opryland Hotel.

As soon as we arrived, all I could see were the beautiful tanks!  For our visit, part of the review was going to the Education Tour. We were greeted by everyone and got this started right away! This tour was really neat because it lasted 30 minutes and we were shown how everything worked. Lydia also got to touch a cool starfish
If you want to go on this tour yourself, you have to book in advance and it is $11.95 a person. After our tour we were seated to eat dinner. Please excuse my photos. I wanted to be discreet so I used  my cell phone.
 Lydia got Shrimpkins. It comes with popcorn shrimp and chicken tenders with a choice of a side. She chose kettle chips. (Do you notice a trend with my kid and shrimp? She is gonna turn into one if she keeps it up!) Now at the top right, my husband got Citrus Pico Talapia. It is blackened & topped with Jumbo Lump Crabmeat & Citrus Pico de Gallo. Served with Aquarium Rice & Seasonal Vegetable. On the bottom right, I got Grilled Chicken Pasta. To describe my meal it was Grilled Chicken served over Fettuccine Pasta tossed with Mushrooms & Sun-dried Tomatoes in an Alfredo Sauce, served with Garlic Toast.
Of course, after you are done eating a good meal you just have to get dessert! Notice the awesome bar in the collage? It is SO neat! Anywho- Lydia was able to get this really neat Make Your Own Sundae! This was a great experience for her. Not to mention, she said it was delicious! I got the new Strawberry Shortcake! It was delicious!
Overall, we loved our experience visiting! It has to be one of the coolest experiences for my family and I. This place is gorgeous and the staff are very friendly! If you are wanting to take a visit, there are currently 4 locations! They are Denver, Colorado- Houston, Texas- Kemah, Texas and Nashville, TN. Be sure to visit their website and sign up for their email club to get offers and updates! You can also visit Aquarium Restaurant Nashville on Facebook to stay up to date with the latest too!

  1. Wow, this looks really neat and so fun!

  2. This looks like a great place to take kids. If I ever happen to get to Nashville I will have to go there.

  3. This looks and the Jumbo Lump Crabmeat & Citrus Pico de Gallo look tasty.

  4. I've never been to a restaurant with an aquarium before, but I love the beauty of them. I love seafood of any kind, especially shrimp. Eating it while looking at fish might be a little weird though. The food looks great!

  5. This recipe is about preparing a delicious dish using cuttlefish and noodles. Cuttlefish as their name says are not real fish but are mollusks that are similar to squid in appearance.  bagels and noodles
