My baby Max is my world. He is a 2-year-old Maltipoo that loves life. As a dog mom, I want what is best for him when it comes to his health and well-being. Max gets to try new foods often. Luckily, he doesn't have a sensitive stomach and he can eat pretty much anything. We recently had the chance to try a new food and he loves it. The food we tried is called WeRuVa® Caloric Melody. If you haven't heard of them, you are missing out.
WeRuVa is a luxurious, natural pet food inspired by and named after the founder David and Stacie Forman's three rescued cats, Webster, Rudi and Vanessa. When they rescued their dog Baron, they expanded their foods and started making dog food. This company is family owned! They formulated recipes themselves. Max was lucky to try their new WeRuVa Caloric Melody dog food!
There are two lines of food. There is Caloric Melody and Harmony. Both Caloric Harmony & Caloric Melody are formulated to have protein provide the majority of your dog's calories. Harmony contains a higher animal protein content than Melody. Melody provides a comparable nutrition at a lower price point. The Melody line of products comes in three flavors. Chicken Dinner with Lentils; Chicken, Turkey and Salmon Dinner with Lentils; and Lamb Dinner with Lentils. Max received Chicken and HE LOVES IT!
The pieces are just the right size for him too. One thing you should know is that this food is made in a  BRC Approved Facility –Highest Standards for Quality Control & Food Safety. Their products are made in a human food facility using many of the ingredients and processes that are used in products made for people.
Another thing that I love about these products are that all Formulas are Potato Free. No Wheat, No Corn & No Soy. 100% Free of Chinese Ingredients. This food is fit for All Life Stages. Low Fat. Low Ash Content. Gluten-Free. The chicken is even cage Free Chicken! The lamb is grass fed lamb & venison. The salmon is humanely sourced, too! I am so excited about this product because my baby LOVES IT and it is GOOD for him!! Want to purchase? This product is available at Pet360 too! Purchase here today! Visit WeRuVa on their social links to stay up to date with the latest below!
Have you heard of this pet food before? I would love to hear!
Win it: EDIT: The sponsor will be providing $25 in product to send directly to the winner. Originally there was a $25 PetSmart GC for grabs, but to my mistake, their product is NOT available at Petsmart. Remember- they carry CAT food too! Giveaway is open until 3/23. Giveaway is open to the Continental USA. See footer for complete rules. Enter below. Goodluck!

  4. Well, I have four Treeing Walker Coonhounds (Suki, Kenji, Kyoko, and Seiji) and two cats (Moko and Arata) - all rescues. While I'm sure they'd all love to try this, I think I'd use it for my senior Coonhound, Suki. She turned 15 last month and while she's been on a grain-free diet, I think her appetite isn't what it should be and she's lost weight she can't afford to lose. Maybe this would get her to eat better again.
