*Disclosure: The Small Things received an all expense paid trip to Los Angeles with Disney to cover the premier of Finding Dory and a press junket. All opinions are 100% my own and were not swayed in any way.*
WOW! What an event. I am warning you now that this post is picture heavy! I have to share with you the MOST magical event and days of my life. Keep reading! I am going to tell you all about the red carpet and my short review of the movie. It all started with a simple and magical email from Marshall.  I was stoked to learn that I would be invited to the RED CARPET WORLD Premier of Finding Dory!

The Red Carpet Experience & After Party
Our day was filled with events and we had two hours to get ready. I wore my blue and yellow of course! I decked myself out in Dory items. I hung out with Becky @ What U Talking Bout Willis?, and Holly @ I Like It Frantic for this trip!

It felt like a dream! I was amazed! We made our way through crowds and crowds of people! So many people screaming in excitement because the celebs were being dropped off! I was handed my ticket and my red carpet buddies and I were on our way.
As soon are we arrived, Ellen arrived too!!! Her wife, Portia is just beautiful! Check out the photos below!
The "Red Carpet" was blue for the movie!! SUPER CUTE! It was decorated beautifully too!!! I saw several other celebs along the way and tried to snap photos but was rushed! That is the trick on the red carpet, you have to be fast. It is over in the blink of an eye! You do not want to miss out on this.
The Red Carpet was such an experience to take in! I loved every second of it. Ya know, when you have never done anything like this before in your life?Words cannot describe how it feels. It is just a feeling that you can't shake.
I also spotted Eugene Levy (voice of “Charlie”) and Holly Madison!!! I chatted with her! Thank you so much to Holly from I Like It Frantic for snapping that photo on the bottom right!
We then handed over our phones and headed to screen the movie at the El Capitain Theater.
This place is GORGEOUSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!! Words cannot describe how beautiful it is! After we screened the movie, we were off to celebrate with an after party. Celebs and media as well as guests were all able to mingle ON Hollywood Blvd! They shut it down and we had a party in the street!!!
There were so many activities for kids as well as adults. They had photo stations, bubble stations, games and more! They served food, drinks and live music too! I spotted a few celebs, I was too shy to go and ask for a photo but I did get one with Albert Brooks! He voices Nemo's Dad, Marlin in the movie!
The decor was so cute! I loved all of it! The atmosphere was amazing too!
They had a cute tank and AMAZING sand display! I also spotted Eugene Levy (Charlie, Dory's dad in the movie) and Tori Spelling's husband Dean McDermott.
I am so blessed to have been able to attend this AMAZING event! I cried. I really did. Who would have thought that a small town girl like me would be here?!
The night came to an end with these amazing, gorgeous and talented bloggers! This was the trip of a lifetime for sure!!!!
Finding Dory Short Movie Review
SCROLL PAST IF YOU DO NOT WANT SPOILERS
Disney•Pixar's “Finding Dory” will officially be in theaters June 17, 2016. Check out the trailer for yourself below:
What is it about? In a nutshell:
Everyone's favorite blue tang Dory (voice of Ellen DeGeneres), who’s living happily in the reef with Marlin (voice of Albert Brooks) and Nemo (voice of Hayden Rolence). When Dory suddenly remembers that she has a family out there who may be looking for her, the trio takes off on a life-changing adventure across the ocean to California’s prestigious Marine Life Institute,a rehabilitation center and aquarium.
When I came out of this movie, I had two thoughts. AMAZING and WOW. This movie has so many emotions involved. I found myself tearing up, then I would be laughing. This movie has some characters that you will for sure recognize and it has several new ones that will make you laugh! I will update my post with more info after it comes out because I do not want to ruin too much for you.
You will meet: Dory, Marlin, Nemo, Jenny, Charlie, Bailey, Destiny, Hank, Gill, Deb, Fluke, Rudder, Mr, Ray, Crush, Squirt, Stan, Becky, Bloat, Peach, and more. This movie is about Dory remembering she had a family and going on a mission to find them. She had memories come back through the movie and met characters along the way. She never gave up. "Just Keep Swimming".  Hank, the octopus in the movie seems hard on Dory at first, but you will see, he really does have a heart! No pun intended, because the type of octopus he is, he really has three!
The otters are oh so adorable! I mean totally CUTE! I do not have a specific favorite character or scene- I LOVE it all!  Baby Dory is just the cutest and her voice- Oh my! SO ADORABLE! This movie will teach so many lessons. Never giving up is one of them. If you think it- you can do it. It will also show you that family is #1. In the end, yes she finds her family. It will make you cry too!!!  Be sure to stay after the credits!
Visit FINDING DORY on their official website and social media below to stay up to date with the latest and learn more! You can also grab coloring sheets here.
