A special thanks to Disney for sponsoring my Black Panther Event trip*

To say that I have been busy the last few days is an understatement. I have been on some amazing trips and this has to be my favorite ever. If you didn't know, I had the chance of a lifetime to attend the World Premiere of Black Panther and walk the red carpet. This was my first non-animated red carpet and I have to say that just being there was an honor. As a member of the media, the moment happens so fast, so you have to be sure to take it all in! Check out my dress!
I went subtle and not to "out there" but still glam!

My makeup was more on the dramatic side! I  LOVED ALL OF IT!!!!!!!!
My gorgeous blogging BFF Holly over at I Like It Frantic was glammed up too! She was my carpet buddy! A carpet buddy is someone that you take your photos with so both of you get those moments captured on camera!

Arriving was pure chaos! This is completely expected at one of these events, and it was for MARVEL after all! We received our credentials and were headed on our way!
When you get your credentials, it is one of those "OMG this is finally happening!" feelings. I do have to say that I want to share with you from my point of view and what *I* seen!
Look at this panther! HOW COOL IS THIS!?

To give you an idea of who was here:  Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Sterling K. Brown, Martin Freeman, Forest Whitaker and Andy Serkis were joined by writer/director Ryan Coogler and producer Kevin Feige.
Special guests also included: Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Janelle MonĂ¡e, Donald Glover, Issa Rae, Lena Waithe, Jamie Foxx, Usher, Tessa Thompson, Kumail Nanjiani, Yara Shahidi, David Oyelowo, Elizabeth Banks and George Lucas.

We were on one side and the stars were on the other! Lots of yelling and pictures being taken. LOTS of interviews. And LOOK! The carpet was PURPLE!!!!
I spy Janeshia Adams-Ginyard! THAT DRESS IS SLAY!
The atmosphere was just amazing! I can't put into words how I felt because it is different for everyone. I would definitely say surreal!
I felt gorgeous on the carpet! Mike Tyson walked by Holly and I and it happened so fast I didn't get a photo!
The premiere happened at the DOLBY THEATRE! If you live under a rock and didn't know, this is where they have the OSCARS!!!!!

And yes, I had to get a photo on the stairs! Because, why not!
Every event isn't complete without a blogger group photo! Photo credit to: Marshall Weinbaum, our fairy godfather for these events of course!I had a BLAST and I cannot wait for the next one!

Marvel Studios’ BLACK PANTHER opens in theaters everywhere on February 16th! YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS! If you need a refresher on what it is about:
Marvel Studios’ BLACK PANTHER follows T’Challa who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king—and Black Panther—is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people and their way of life.
