The Cheltenham Festival is the place to be this St. Patrick's Day

Celebrating St. Patrick's Day can be so fun! What is also fun is being able to have a few cocktails and bet with williamhill! The Cheltenham Festival is the place to be this St. Patrick's Day because the odds will be in your favor with the many races! You are probably wondering what this event is, let me tell you!
The Cheltenham Festival is a meeting in the National Hunt racing calendar in the United Kingdom, with race prize money second only to the Grand National. It is an event where many of the best British- and Irish-trained horses race to an extent which is relatively rare during the rest of the season. The festival takes place annually in March at Cheltenham Racecourse in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. The meeting usually coincides with Saint Patrick's Day, and is particularly popular with Irish visitors.
It features several Grade I races including the Cheltenham Gold Cup, Champion Hurdle, Queen Mother Champion Chase and World Hurdle, held over four days. Large amounts of money are gambled during Cheltenham Festival week, with hundreds of millions of pounds being bet over the week. Cheltenham is often noted for its atmosphere, most notably the "Cheltenham roar", which refers to the enormous amount of noise that the crowd generates as the starter raises the tape for the first race of the festival. Ladies Day usually takes place on the Wednesday of The Festival.

This festival features the best runners and riders in the UK and Ireland! 28 races will be held at this festival and the first race will go off at 13:30PM! As ladies, we love to dress up for these occasions!

Take advantage of it and check out a few cute looks that I have gathered below!

There are so many versatile looks that you can do when it comes to this event! You can choose to go simple like above with coats and darker colors. This gives more of a casual look to the event.
You can also choose fancy! These ladies are arriving in style. The white is so classy and stands out! They are making a statement for sure.
My favorite looks would be over the top and bold colors as above! I love the hats too! As you can see the colors are bold and the hats stand out from the crowd! No matter what you wear or what look you choose, this event will be a blast!

The DO NOT wear list for this event is small, but I will tell you if you wear tennis shoes and jeans, you will more than likely be the only one wearing it. Other no items include: jodhpurs, shorts, parkas, windbreakers, tracksuit tops, bomber jackets, denim jackets, pullovers, track shoes, runners, thongs, peaked caps or beanies. Let your style shine and be creative, be fun with it!

For the men, don't think you are getting away easy. You have to worry about what you wear too! I would recommend wearing wear a suit, sports coat or blazer. A tie is a must to complete your look too!
