4 Reasons to Add Phuket on Your Next Bucket List

Thailand is one of the most beautiful, happening and yet one of the most economical tourist destinations in the world. From exhilarating beaches, lush green forests, thrilling parks, spectacular cabaret shows and unbeatable shopping options, Thailand has everything to offer that an ideal tourist destination should have.

Most popular beach destinations in the world such as Mauritius, Maldives, and the likes come with a hefty price tag and therefore many travel enthusiasts can only long to visit such destinations. Fortunately, Thailand has some of the most jaw-droppingly gorgeous islands and beaches dotted with beautiful resorts that will not cost you a fortune. One of such islands lie towards the south of Thailand and is known as Phuket.

The coastline of Phuket is drop dead gorgeous and stretches to about 48 kilometers, which makes it the largest island in Thailand. Phuket is by far one of the most visited tourist spots in Thailand after its metropolitan capital, Bangkok. If you are planning to travel to Phuket and are looking for cheap Phuket tours here are 4 things that you should be considering.

  1. Phang Nga  Bay
As you catch a boat from one of the piers in the main Phuket and sail through the crystal blue and emerald waters, there will be a point where you will see beautiful limestone formations erected from beneath the ocean. You have reached Phang Nga Bay, one of the most beautiful spots in the country. This beautiful island has a white sandy beach that is overshadowed by the lush green forests and gorgeous limestone caves. This is also the place that has managed to attract some of the world's most famous shooting crews and has been featured in the international movie such as Man with the Golden Gun.

  1. The Phuket Town
Phuket has an extremely vibrant culture and the streets give you a very hipster look and feel with an interesting blend of Chinese and colonial architecture. The bars of Patong town are open till late in the night and the bustling Bangla road and the jungceylon mall are excellent alternatives for you to explore. You can also shop for some beautiful souvenirs to be taken back home.

  1. Phi Phi Island
This beautiful white sandy beach is accessible from Phuket by a boat.  The island is home to thick forests, pristine beaches, cool sand and luxurious beach resorts. Many tourists choose to make a day trip to the island and then head back to Phuket while some decide to check in to one of the many resorts on the island. If you are traveling to Thailand, Phi Phi Island cannot be missed.

  1. Waterfalls and Vistas

If you feel you have had enough of beaches and that you need a different kind of vacation, head straight up to the Khao Phra Thaeo National park to trek through a beautiful lush green forest and take a dip into the natural Emerald pools by the waterfalls.
