You all know my love for jewelry and fashion. Not only do I love wearing jewelry but I love to personalize it as well. I recently had the awesome chance to work with a sweet Origami Independent Designer, Jenny on reviewing a Living Locket.
This jewelry is beautiful and I absolutely love the concept on how the process works. Every Living Locket is custom designed with charms that tell the story of your life and represent the things you love. To begin creating yours, you’ll need to first select charms that have meaning to you. Then, select your favorite locket + chain. Add a little personality with a hand-stamped metal plate or dangles. Learn more about how Origami Owl came to be by watching this video.
Designing your own personalized jewelry is a new fad these days and I just love how you can pick your own charms and everything you want for these lockets. How does it work? Let me tell you about it!
-Step 1- You pock out your charms
-Step 2- Pick out your locket(s)
-Step 3-Pick out the chain that you want
-Step 4- If you want plates with your locket pick one of those out too!
-Step 5- Dangles are an add on that you can choose for your locket.
Check out and buy and you are done!
Jenny wanted to share her locket with you. It has all of the above on the locket. Her locket is beautiful! More about it: H for her daughter, Hailey, blessed plate because she is blessed! She has a wedding ring and birthstones for my husband, and the Love & infinity charms for her family! See how beautiful creating your own Origami Owl Living Locket can be?
I wanted to share with you mine! My locket means so much to me.
I opened my box to find this cute take out box! Isn't it cute?
After opening my necklace and adding my charms I seen that there was this adorable jewelry holder to store your necklace in! I thought that this was neat. Now I am going to show you MY Living Locket. The story behind my locket means a ton. I love to honor our daughter in any way that I can.
I chose these charms because they are just beautiful and it tells our story.  My daughter was born sleeping in April and Aprils birthstone happens to be a diamond. I chose the heart with pink baby feet because she is a girl and the angel wings and angel because my sweet daughter is now an angel. I also chose the heart with "In Memory Of" because it is in memory of her.
Not only does this necklace tell her story but it also gives me the chance to get her story out and tell her story when people admire it. I am so happy with my decision. I love it!

The locket that I chose is the Large Silver Locket With Crystals. It can be purchased for $28. The chain that I chose was the Silver Ball Station Chain. It can be purchase for $8 and the charms are $5 a piece on the charms collections page. There are other selections and prices vary. There are many sizes and choices on lockets to choose from as well. They have the smallest of lockets to a large. I plan to purchase a plate in the near future with some more charms that remind me of my Aubrey. This was a great way to start out my locket and I will truly cherish it forever. I am so thankful that Jenny allowed me to work with her on reviewing it!
Jenny also has some Tagged Necklaces on in her shop! These are neat too! Check them out!

  1. Wow! I just saved up and finally was able to buy (just) a locket...it would be great to be able to get the plain black paw print (for my boy that I lost on St. Patrick's Day to a very fast and aggressive cancer), and the March circle birthstone (for my daughter), and a Mama plate (because that is what I am), and either one other charm or a chain :D
