My 7 year old loves to draw. She has an imagination when it comes to thinking about things and thinking about games. It gets frustrating dragging out paper and supplies in her room. I want her to do new things this summer and not have her face in her Wii, or Xbox. I recently came up with a solution that couldn't be better! We had the chance to review a Children's Art Activity Easel from Art Alternatives, and we couldn't be happier!
Art Alternatives has everything that you would ever need when it comes to art and drawing. They specialize  in art surfaces including over 350 sizes and styles of canvas and panels, as well as black books and 1000+ other creative tools and supplies. Their children's art activity easel was one of the first things that I came across and I loved. It was something we had been looking for, for quite some time. We were happy when the mail man delivered it! The box came as you see below but with a plastic protective cover. (Just an FYI if you plan to purchase this for a present because the kiddo(s) will see what it is).
Putting it together was SIMPLE! It comes with legs so that you can extend as your child grows, or you can choose to put it on a table so that you do not need the legs. We chose to add legs. The legs have rubber on the bottom of them to protect surfaces. The canvas is made of solid pine and smells so good! I do want to add that it DOES NOT come with art supplies. We bought them and added them ourselves.
The Canvas does come with a hidden paper roll! It can feed on either side.
I love the trays on both sides so that she can add her supplies on it as she pays!
It is so convenient and they were easy to assemble!
It adds plenty of room to play and be creative!
I asked her what her favorite part was and she said all of it! Because it is so much fun!
We also like to play educational games. Word scramble is a hit. I want her to have fun and learn how to spell at the same time. Another great thing about summer fun. We can have fun and learn at the same time!
Shes been into painting pictures for me. I think it is just too cute!
Another AMAZING feature about this easel is the sturdy, washable bright red baskets provide convenient and ample built-in storage space.
It adds plenty of room to add her items. Overall, we love the children's art activity easel! We will be using it for quite sometime! She can use it as she grows and we can use it to help her with her homework and teaching her new things! I love the quality and how easy it was to assemble! If you want to purchase this awesome easel from Art Alternatives, you can do so on  for only $119.99 item #AA13325. Since they are a manufacturer/importer, they  sell their creative supplies through qualified retail stores nationally. Find a dealer or online retailer near you! I was able to score all of the supplies you see at Toy "R" Us for about $20. Be sure to visit their website via one of the links here to see what other products they manufacture! This would make a great Birthday or Christmas gift too! Have it put together with a big red bow on it! Visit Art Alternatives on their Facebook to stay up to date with the latest!
