I don't know about you but I am a huge car fan. I love riding and driving various cars and the new car smell is just something you never get tired of. Recently, I had the chance to test the 2018 Lexus GS 300 for a week thanks to DriveShop. We decided to take it to Tybee Island in Georgia. Let me tell you, this car does not disappoint. It has all of the bells and whistles. The color is "EMINENT WHITE". Let's talk about features here because not only should you own one, you should go test drive one to see for yourself how amazing it is!

Performance
This car has a TURBO. YES, it is FAST.  It has a 20 Liter In-Line 4 Cylinder with twin-scroll turbo to be exact and boy does this baby pack a punch. The transmission is 8-speed and it has three driving modes. Modes include Eco, Normal and Sport mode. It also has brake assist and this is pretty amazing when people decide to be difficult and brake you out of nowhere. The  GS 300 has and ABS and EBD as well.

Interior
This version of the Lexus GS 300 has gorgeous tan perforated leather trim with driver memory. You can see the faux wood detail inside as well. I love the steering wheel because it is wrapped in leather and the shift knob has black trim. It has dual zoned climate control too. The GS 300 has carpeted floormats. I love the power button to start it as well. The sound system is AMAZING! It gets some BOOM! for sure. The system is a Mark Levinson Premium Surround System.

The GS 300 is completed with a navigation system that anyone will adore. I know that I did! It is a 12.3-inch touchscreen! It has a color multimedia display. It comes complete with voice command and an app suite. Let's not forget about the DVD/CD player. It comes with SiriusXM Radio, an HD Radio with iTunes tagging, as well as a USB audio plug and lastly Bluetooth technology to drive hands free. My favorite part of the interior was the heated and ventilated front seats. Air conditioning seats in the middle of Summer is just the best thing invented!

Exterior
The Lexus GS 300 comes standard with 17" 9-Spoke Alloy wheels w/225//50R17 tires. This specific model featured here has 18" 5-Spoke Alloy wheels with Summer tires. The trunk is one touch, allowing you to load your groceries with ease.  The windshield wipers are Rain-Sensing! This was a neat feature that I had not seen until now. The GS 300 comes with a power tilt and slide moonroof with one-touch open and close. This car even has a power rear sunshade! Perfect when you have children in the back seat! The exterior mirrors fold in when you turn the car off too. The vehicle has auto-dimming inside and outside rearview mirrors. The headlamps are Bi-LED and come with LED Daytime Running Lamps & Dynamic Auto-Leveling.

Safety
Let's talk safety when it comes to the GS 300. There are 10 airbags in this vehicle. They include Driver & Front Passenger, 6 in the Front-Knee & Side. 2 in the Rear Side and 2 Side Curtain. It also comes with a blind spot monitor with cross traffic alert. This is pretty cool and came in use several times at the beach.  Let's not forget about the backup monitor. The Lexus Safety System doesn't disappoint at all. Comes complete with lane keep assist and lane departure alert with steering assist.

Mileage
The Lexus GS 300 comes with 26 MPG combined city/hwy.

Price
You are probably wondering how much one of these bad boys are going to cost you. After all of the installed options,  you are looking at a price tag of $51,829.00

You better stay off of the naughty list this year, you never know what Santa may bring you! Overall, I enjoyed my drive with the Lexus GS 300. It has the most comfortable seats that I have ever sat in, in a car. The drive was smooth and easy too. Thanks for reading!
