About Espresso 
Not everyone known everything about coffee. Espresso is an Italian origin coffee thicker than others. It means brewed by forcing or by pressure. What you will need: 
  • Coffee beans/Grounded coffee 
  • Sugar 
  • Water 
  • Milk
Process: 
To make Espresso coffee at home, you can have a look at the below procedure. 

  • Grind the espresso beans of yours with a grinder or can use the grounded coffee as well. For one cup water, 2 tablespoon beans are needed. [Note: The coffee beans should be finely ground to have a better taste and texture.]
  • Pour cold filtered water in the container filled with grounded beans. 
  • Stir the mixture till the coffee powder did not get dissolve in water exactly. 
  • Add sugar in the concentrate according to your taste. 
  • Cover the container and keep it in the refrigerator for almost half of the day. 
  • Filter the concentrate after that and add milk or cream. 
  • You are ready with the strong and dark brew of chilled espresso.
How to make cold espresso coffee with a machine 
You can use an espresso coffee machine if you have one. With it, you can get a great coffee exactly like that of a coffee shop. So below is the process of making cold coffee with espresso machine.

What you will need 
  • Roasted coffee beans 
  • Water 
  • Grinder 
  • Espresso machine
Process 
  • Buy the beans that are roasted almost a week before. 
  • Grind the beans in a good quality grinder. It should be finely grounded. You will need at least 7 grams of beans for one shot of espresso or double the quantity for the double shot. 
  • Now here comes the use of espresso machine. Heat the machine 15 to 20 minutes before using it. Pour the water in the machine tank and turn on the machine [use the filtered water]. 
  • Put the coffee grounds in the portafilter. 
  • Tamp it to provide pressure. 
  • Press the brew button of the machine. 
  • It will take around 20 to 25 seconds. 
  • Serve the espresso. [Note: Every espresso machine has its own technique, so read the manual before using it.]
How to make espresso coffee without espresso machine 
Espresso without espresso machines- sounds interesting, but not impossible so need not to bother if you don’t have an espresso maker. There are mainly three approaches of making coffee without the espresso machine. 
  • The Aeropress 
  • The Mokapot 
  • The Frenchpress 
These methods are purely based on the pressure. With the aeropress, the moka pot and the Frenchpress, the pressure on the sources can get you a delicious coffee. An espresso lover will surely realize the importance of it because there is no need of espresso machine everytime to make a coffee.

The Aeropress Method

What you will need 
  • Aeropress 
  • Coffee grinder 
  • Coffee beans 
  • Timer 
  • An electric kettle
Process 
  • Stack the aeropress and put the filter inside the drain cap. Lightly rinse the filter and place the drain cap and filter inside the compartment of the press. 
  • Now here comes the turn of working with those coffee beans. Grind the 2 tablespoons of coffee beans in the coffee grinder or get it done through the local coffee shop. 
  • Those finely grounded coffee should be put in the filter. You can add more coffee during the brewing time. 
  • Then, add water in the coffee. 
  • Stir to mix well. P
  • ress the plunger hard to give it more pressure. 
  • Your espresso is ready.
The Moka Pot Method

What you will need 
  • Coffee grounds 
  • Table spoon 
  • Moka pot
Process 
  • First and foremost, grind the coffee beans by measuring the quantity of 2 tablespoons. Grind it finely. 
  • Pour the water into the bottom of the port. Add the coffee into the filter and shake it till the grounds are settled. 
  • Now place the pot on medium flame and heat it. 
  • The coffee will begin to expand and foam will start forming at the top of the pot because the hot water will put pressure and coffee will concentrate at the top. 
  • You are ready with your espresso coffee.
The French Press Method

What you need 
  • Coffee grounds 
  • French press
  •  Kettle Tablespoon
Process 
  • Grind the coffee finely but here you will need more than 2 tablespoon of quantity to get more froth. 
  • Heat the water in the kettle at below 200 degree. 
  • Add coffee grounds to the French press. 
  • Add a splash of water in the frenchpress and let the coffee grounds to get soaked for about half a second. 
  • Pour the rest of the water over the grounds. 
  • Press the plunger to put pressure. 
  • Espresso is ready.
