I am so excited to share with you all Disneyland's 60th Anniversary! I was so stoked and excited to be a part of this celebration. When I was at Disneyland, I learned so much and I want to share it all with you! Did you know that construction began for Disneyland on July 21, 1954? Disneyland opened on July 17, 1955. To give you a brief history, Walt Disney came up with the concept of Disneyland after visiting various amusement parks with his daughters in the 1930s and 1940s.
We learned the history of Disneyland, from Disneyland Ambassadors, Jessica Bernard and Allie Kawamoto.
DISNEYLAND opened July 17, 1955, with 18 major attractions. Today, there are more than 60 attractions. This year, Disneyland is celebrating it's 60th Diamond Celebration! This place is absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful! Walt Disney had a dream and his dream came true! This place is so magical! There is something special about Disneyland's Diamond Celebration. A few of these include, a  glittering new parade, new fireworks spectacular and all-new “World of Color” show. When I went on my trip, we were greeted with an amazing lunch as well as these three! Mickey, Minnie and Goofy showed up to our lunch!  All of us had such amazing time!
Our lunch even came in this beautiful diamond that you see on the right!
I met so many new bloggers and long time new friends on this trip! We also got to sit in the boat that was featured on the It's A Small World ride in Tomorrowland, the movie!

To add to the celebration, More than 500 special merchandise items have been created for the Diamond Celebration, including apparel, accessories, art, collectibles, headwear, home décor, jewelry, pins, souvenirs, toys and more. They can be found at shops throughout Disneyland Resort, including Disney Showcase and Main Street Emporium in Disneyland, Elias & Co. in Disney California Adventure, World of Disney in the Downtown Disney District and more. Check out my mug swag that I received!
I also survived Tower Of Terror and Space Mountain!
How cute is Peter Pan playing duck duck goose with the kids?
I had so much fun and made so many new memories!
When the sun goes down, Disneyland is even more magical! So beautiful walking down main street. As I mentioned above, they have a special parade. The Paint The Night Parade is just magical! Check out these photos from Shelby Barone, over at  http://ocmomblog.com/. The luminescent parade creates a river of color flowing down Main Street, U.S.A., with an array of Disney characters and more than 1.5 million brilliant LED lights that flash and glow as Mickey Mouse uses his vivid imagination to “Paint the Night.” With dazzling special effects, unforgettable music, energetic performances, fun surprises and spectacular floats, “Paint the Night” is more vibrant than any parade in 60 years at the Disneyland Resort.

I also mentioned the parade! I was lucky enough to score a video of this. The video isn't quite how I wanted it to turn out, however, it is still beautiful! There are several reasons that the Disney 60th Diamond Celebration Disney Forever show! There is special show thanks to the largest installation of projection mapping technology in a Disney park and surprising special effects. Images are projected on the castle! For the first time in Disneyland fireworks history, Nemo from the Disney●Pixar animated film “Finding Nemo,” will “just keep swimming” in the skies above Sleeping Beauty Castle, as the Matterhorn is transformed into the fiery peak of Mt. Wannahockaloogie, a special monument from that film. You can also see a special show featuring The Jungle Book, "Under The Sea" and more!  My camera died right before the finale and I was bummed, but it was gorgeous!

PLEASE, if you get a chance, you have to visit! Everything glitters, everything is beautiful and Disneyland is magical. I felt like a child again and it was such a wonderful feeling! You can shop The Downtown Disney District too! Almost 500 Diamond Celebration-themed items will be offered, including apparel, accessories, D-Tech, jewelry, home décor, pins, collectibles, Vinylmation, consumables and toys. Visit Disneyland on their social media below to stay up to date with the latest!
