No parent should have to deal with the pain we do!!

   I am having a bad morning. Tears are rolling right now. All though we are trying to conceive again, it still doesn't change the fact that our daughter is not here. I miss her so much.
The picture you see to the right is our daughter, Aubrey Elizabeth's hand on her daddys finger. So tiny and perfect. Only 20 weeks and so well formed. Her fingernails were even there. So cute! I know that I have some new readers so I wanted to share my story again. I do have a section with everything on my blog. You can read more about it here.
Our sweet Aubrey was stillborn due to Anencephaly and unfortunately it is a fatal birth defect that cannot be cured, fixed or taken back. It could have been caused by many of things but we were told that ours was a 1 in 10,000 case. She was born April 10, 2013 at 8:33 AM cst and was 9 inches and 10 oz. 
As of today, I would have been due in 55 days. Double digits? I really should be packing my hospital bag and preparing her room. Instead, I am holding her ashes. I miss my daughter. I do not wish this on anyone. EVER. I have held it together long enough. I do cry but today is the most I have cried in a few weeks. It comes and goes in waves. I usually wait to let it out when my husband is at work but right now I need him and it is impossible
 I want to hold my princess again. I want to see that sweet face and kiss the button nose. Life throws us hard times but why this? Why ? I ask myself this all the time. No parent or person should have this heartbreak. EVER.  
It frustrates me when I see people complaining about a gender disappointment. For example, I seen a post on Facebook today. A girl was livid she was pregnant with a girl because she wanted a boy. REALLY? There are people like me who's baby died that would give anything to have had her HEALTHY and you are complaining that your HEALTHY baby isn't a gender you wanted? PLEASE anyone that is going to do this- GET OVER YOURSELF. Last time I checked when you have sex and get pregnant it is a 50/50 chance on what you are having. 
Sorry that I got on a little rant today but hopefully people that read this will have an eye opener when it comes to this topic. I also wanted to mention that if you are trying to have a baby , please take your folic acid. It will decrease your odds of this happening to you.

It looks great on me and great because I am a curvy girl too. It doesn't hug my hips at all so it makes me comfortable in my own body to wear it!

Glass With A Twist - Custom Engraved Glassware Review

  I love personalized items and I love it even more when I get to pick them out myself. My husband and I both had the chance to receive  custom engraved glassware for the both of us from Glass With A Twist! Before I tell you more about them, I wanted to share with  you more about the company. 
Founded in 2007, Glass With A Twist has become the go-to for custom engraved glassware. They have been in Reno, Nevada since 2009 and they customize all of their products in house! Not only do they offer personalization but they only use restaurant quality glassware.
They personalize the glassware with sandblasting! You can check out more on how they engrave on their website. They also had NO set up fees or minimums on orders!! That is amazing because some competing companies want you to order a set amount! This is completely convenient! 
My husband and I chose two beer pint glasses. We wanted something simple because I love to drink my doctor pepper and he loves to have him a beer after work on occasion. With that said, we chose to pick the make your own glasses. I thought that these were simple enough for us.
I chose to do the "Mrs. Brown" engraved on my pint glass and I had 8 different fonts to choose from on what I wanted to I chose the font "Catseye"
I thought that the font was cute and it is totally "ME!"
My husband wanted to match his glass with mine but personalize the style of font.
 
 After looking at the font that they had to offer, Jon chose to get the font called "Diploma".
Overall, we are completely thrilled to have received them and we both plan to use our glasses regularly!

Baby Oil As Makup Remover!!

I am always looking for frugal ideas when it comes to beauty and I found one that you all are going to love!! Did you know that you can use baby oil as a makeup remover??
This is awesome if you ask me! It doesn't take very much at all! You can soak a q-tip to get around the eyes or soak a cotton ball.
I would rather continue to so this rather than spend $5-$10 on makeup remover wipes. 
You can also get a small tupperware container and throw in a good amount of these cotton pads and pour baby oil over them and let it soak. You will have your own home made makeup remover pads! This will make your face soft and fresh too!

 My husband loves it when I am able to get products for him to try an review. I came across a company that I knew he would love and they were glad to allow him to review a pair of their shoes! I found a pair of slip on shoes  that I knew he would love!
Hey dude shoes were designed and manufactured to be the lightest shoe on the market! Hey Dude Shoes start at only 5 ounces (150 grams) – about the same weight as a couple pairs of socks! Jon loved their flex and fold technology!
My husband, Jon received a pair of the Wally Slip-On shoes in Black! He was thrilled to open his box and find the shoes.

I love beauty products and I love them even better when I can get them every month!! I had the chance to work with Beauty Box 5 on reviewing their monthly subscription beauty box! I love the concept of this box! It is pretty neat, actually! Beauty Box 5 is a subscription-based, beauty sampling program that delivers a monthly box filled with 4-5 cosmetic samples.  Aimed at introducing women to new cosmetic products and educating them on best practices, Beauty Box 5 scours the market to find the best product for your lifestyle. Check out some of the brands included in their boxes!
Beauty Box 5 has free shipping on their boxes! This is a plus for me because some competing companies will have you pay a flat rate price! Prices start at $12 a month! $30 every three months, or $100 a year!!!

Now for my box! I was so stoked when I opened it! I squeeled because I just couldn't wait!

 The color is beautiful!!! I figured showing it on my hand would be better so you can see the real color against my skin. The color is so subtle and pretty! It tastes good too!!! It is non sticky and has a mirror built in so that you can watch and apply!
  • The next product in my beauty box was Bodyography CLEAR foundation primer. I am assuming this is a sample because it is .53 oz BUT A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY! Full size can be purchased for $30!
I have never used anything like this before and I am flipping amazed!! It is liquid but feels like BABY POWDER when you put it on your face!! As I said above, a little does go a LONG way!
I am wearing it on my face here in my Instagram picture! It helps give a flawless look and is not greasy! I am also wearing the lipgloss that I mentioned above as well.
 
  •  Tree Hut Mini Coconut and Lime Sugar Body Scrub- 5.5 oz  This retails for $4.99 and you can also buy 18 oz for around $17!
     I love how this  makes my skin feel when I get out of the shower and it smells SO GOOD!!!!
  • Blinc Inc Mascara Retails for $26 and I received a sample in my box. Instead of painting your lashes like conventional mascaras, blinc mascara forms tiny no-smudge, water-resistant "tubes" around your lashes. Once applied, these mascara tubes bind to your lashes and cannot run, smudge, clump, or flake, even if you cry or rub your eyes. This is amazing! AND I LOVE IT!
 The last item that was in my box was
  • Brazen Cosmetics Organic Mineral Eyeshadow - Color: "Birthday Suit" This retails for $7.99! 
 This eyeshadow is beautifully applied and is very subtle! I love it!!!


I also received this little card in my box, as part of reviewing Beauty Box 5!  I am thrilled that they not only provided me with a box for review, but this goodie too!

Overall, My experience with beauty box is great and my husband is going to sign me up for the yearly box as soon as I get paid!! Mod Lacquer Nail Polish Review

 I have been wanting to try "Indie" Nail polish for a while now! If you were wondering what Indie means, it means independent. Mod Lacquer LLC personally hand blends all of her nail polish using micas, pigments, glitter and a 3 free suspension base. She has so much to choose from and I honestly have to say that they ARE one of a kind! I approached her to see if I could review some of her nail polishes on  my blog and she said yes! I was stoked!! I anxiously waited for the mail to run and opened my package to this:
Can you say BEAUTIFUL!!!? These polishes are so pretty!! I will start from left to the right.
This beautiful nail polish is called"Lavender Festival"
Lavender Festival is a pale sheer lavender jelly base with a variety of colors and different sizes of glitter. This is too pretty! I used three coats on my hands below with one layer of top coat.
Lavender Festival is a 15ml (.5oz) bottle and can be purchased for only $9.50 plus $3 Shipping. There is a mini version of this polish for $4!
Now another polish that I received is beautiful too! 
 This nail polish is called Satire Coral. Satire is a bright sheer coral/pink jelly base with bright yellow glitter It is just perfect for the summer!!!

I used three coats of polish to take this picture. I love the color and I love how it looks against my skin!

My husband especially loved this next polish! My husband said that this nail polish reminds him of the original Willy Wonka movie when the boy turns pixelated! 

 The name of this polish is called 8Bit Digits. 8-Bit Digits is a fine multi-color neon glitter polish in a clear base. It IS recommended to use a top coat because this polish dries as a matte texture. I chose to try this polish with random base coat colors because it is just a clear base glitter. It is SO PRETTY! I love how it has a different look with every color!!! I only needed two coats of glitter to achieve my desired result!
 The polish that I received was a mini but you can buy 8Bit Digits in a 15ml (.5oz) bottle for only

 The last polish that I tried was just as gorgeous as the rest!
 
The name of this polish is Galactic Aura! Galactic Aura is a Duochrome nail polish that is primarily teal that shifts to blue and purple with tiny sparks of rainbow colors from the micro holographic glitter. It IS recommend that you use a top coat to make it have a sparkle effect too!
