I am starting to try new things. Making desserts so my daughter and husband can enjoy them after dinner is one of them. With that said, I wanted to share with you one amazing and easy recipe. This recipe is for Apple Crisp! Doesn't that picture look delicious?! Read on to see how I made it!
Check it out! You are going to need the following:
  • 1 Can of pie filling in the flavor of your choice. I chose Apple!
  • 2 Cups of Bisquick
  • 3/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cup  Melted Butter
  • Whipped Topping or Ice cream to top it with.
You will need a casserole dish or bunt pan. Now, GREASE your pan and dump the pie filling in first.
Take your two cups of Bisquick and dump and even it out over the pie filling.
Now add that 3/4 Cups of sugar over the Bisquick. DO NOT MIX, JUST LAYER IT.
Pour your 1 cup of melted butter over the sugar. I know that I should have used a bigger dish but it still worked out! Dump that 1/2 cup of crushed pecans over the butter!
I know.. I know that butter picture is not that flattering. It tastes amazing though! Throw in the oven at 375* for 45 minutes! It should be browned on the top when done!
Top with ice cream or cool whip and ENJOY!
As you can see my oldest did! She kept telling me that I was the best mommy ever and "Mommy you bake awesome!" Hey! I will take that! =)
As you can see this is simple and easy to make! A dessert the entire family can enjoy! What do you say? Are you gonna give it a shot and try it? You won't regret it! If you need more for a bigger family I am sure that you can try to double the recipe.
