As a mother, I want the best for my kids. When it comes to bath and body products you have to be careful. Unless you REALLY pay attention, there is no telling what chemicals are in them. With that said, I recently came across a great line of natural bath products called My True Nature! At My True Nature, they believe that childhood is sacred and I could not agree more! Kelly could not find a line of 100% natural products so in a nutshell, she started her own! What is so great about her products is that they are FREE of genetically modified organisms, parabens, petrochemicals, phthalates, sulfates, synthetic dyes, synthetic fragrances, triclosan or preservatives.
Go in your bathroom and grab the kiddos products. Can you say that they are free of the products above too?  They are also animal cruelty free! In 2009, a study was done on big box products and it was found that half of children’s bath soaps, shampoos, lotions, and other personal care products tested by the group Campaign for Safe Cosmetics (CSC) contained 1,4-dioxane and formaldehyde. [source] That can cause CANCER! How scary is that? Another reason True Nature should be in your bathroom!
I love how the bottles look. Kelly came up with the idea of having cartoon labels. Which I have to mention that they are completely adorable and fun!  Check out the characters on the website to learn more about them. Lydia was super excited to use these products when it came to bath time.
We received Dewey's Bubble Bath - Baby Soft Scent 12oz Size and  Daisy's 2-in-1 Shampoo & Body Wash - Citrus Scent 8oz.
I have to say when I was running her water for her bath and poured some of the bubble bath in, it immediately smelled up our place! It smelled great! AND this bubble bath has a ton of bubbles! It is rich in organic botanicals including aloe, plantain & white peony tea extracts, & pure essential oil. She loved it! And when we let out the water, it did not leave any slippery gunk! The Shampoo & Body was smelled GREAT too! It has an awesome citrus scent. Just a mention- this is also great for sensitive skin, cradle cap, or eczema. The shampoo & body wash is full of nourishing and calming organic botanicals including olive oil, aloe, and pure essential oils. Their bottles are 100% recyclable and reusable too! All though these are marketed toward babies, they are great for kids of all ages too!  Check out this short clip of my daughter telling you about the products. This was her first time so bare with her and her cue cards!
Also, a special thank you for the stickers included in our package. Lydia loves them!!
If you want to purchase these products for yourself- you can do so  by visiting their website via one of the links above! The shampoo & body wash that we received is available for $10.49 and it also comes in different scents and sizes. The bubble bath is also available in other scents and sizes but the one we received is available for purchase at only $12.99! Check out My True Nature for more information. 2. I do think about what's in my children's body wash! I wish I would have earlier, but just this last year i've made the switch to only using natural products for our family!

  3. Wow, these look terrific! My daughter has eczema and it's a pain trying to find a soap or shampoo that doesn't make her skin break out. Thanks for sharing!

  4. I do pay attention to the ingredient statement. My son has very sensitive skin, so it is important that the ingredients do not irritate his skin.

  5. I honestly try to get natural products if I can but have got so many of the ones that have all the chemicals in them. I would love to try the Baby shampoo and Body wash.

  6. I don't have any young children. I want this for my niece. I was appalled at how many chemicals there were in them! Just awful! These are the perfect alternative!

  7. I really didn't realize how many strange chemicals are in even kids' bath products! I would give this to my 8 year-old nephew, who has mild eczema & allergies.

  9. Oh wow. I have never taken the time to research all the things put into our children's, or entire family in general, body washes & such. It is so scary to think that we could be innocently giving our precious babies a bath, watching them splash in the bubbles, & make mo-hawks with the shampoo, all the while exposing them to ingredients that can cause cancer!!! This was such an informative post. I think our family will be much more conscious about our products & maybe invest into some True Nature natural products.

  10. I have worried about the chemicals in my kids bath products, sunscreens, etc......it makes me literally sick to my stomach to think of all the harmful things we are unknowingly putting on our children.

  11. Yes I've been aware. It matters to me what goes on my daughters sensitive skin. Even if it weren't sensitive I'd want to know what I was putting on her was safe. Love this brand. Earth Mama Baby is great too and Badger :)
