Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey is proud to present LEGENDS! Drama, surprise and wonder build the excitement so BIG that it could only be The Greatest Show On Earth®. Show Times:

• Friday, Jan. 23 – 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.
• Saturday, Jan. 24 – 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
• Sunday, Jan. 25 – 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Tickets start at $15 with limited VIP and Circus Celebrity tickets available while supplies last.

An hour before show time and free to all ticketholders, the All-Access Pre-show allows circus fans to learn juggling and balancing skills, meet the performers of The Greatest Show On Earth, get autographs, take photos and enter to win a one-of-a-kind Pachyderm Painting. How cool is that? My family and I will be going on Saturday, Jan 24th and we cannot wait! While you are here I wanted to share with you this awesome interview the ringmaster! I wanted to be sure you- my readers had an insight on what it is like in the circus life!

• Why did you choose this job?

I didn't choose circus, circus choice me. I was offered the opportunity to be a part of history. Why would I not take that opportunity?

• What's your favorite thing about what you do?

That I do it. That no one in the world does it but me. That everything from the costumes, to my script, to every note and rest in the music is made specifically for me. I've had numerous patrons say to me, "you've certainly found your calling!" There are few pleasures greater than finding your place in the world.

• How long have you been involved in the circus?

Over 15 years.

• Have you ever hurt yourself during a show?

The Ringmaster has the safest gig of all. I have an intimate relationship with gravity, so, no I've never hurt myself during a show.

• What advice would you give somebody wanting to join the circus?  

 Circus chooses you. It's not a want, it's a compulsion. I've yet to meet anyone in circus who was not drawn to it somehow nor have I met those who have departed who did not want to return. If circus is for you, I assure you she will beckon you. You will be able to look back at your life and see how you were prepared for it all.
