You all know my love for car reviews! I wanted to share with you something awesome! Recently, we were able to score a 2015 Toyota Prius for a week and I couldn't be more excited to share this with you!  You know how people brag how good their car is on gas? You haven't seen anything yet. The 2015 Toyota Prius gets about 52 MPG! And that is NO joke. We drove almost 400 miles and only had to put $15 in gas. This car is a hybrid!
This car comes in 7 colors and we received Nautical Blue Metallic. The style of the car is meant to reduce wind resistance for a quieter ride and greater fuel efficiency.
It comes with LED headlights and three driving modes. EV, ECO and POWER. EV Mode allows Prius to run on battery power alone for up to one mile; ECO helps improve fuel economy by adjusting throttle input and climate control; and POWER helps create a more spirited driving experience.
The car has SofTex®-trimmed seats! It weighs about half of the real things. Its manufacturing process generates around 85% fewer CO2 emissions and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) than that of conventional synthetic leather. The driver seat has 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with power lumbar support. The Hybrid Synergy Drive® system combines the benefits of an efficient gasoline engine and a clean, quiet electric motor. It can be powered by the engine, the electric motor or a combination of both, and will automatically choose the most efficient mode for the best mpg.
With a Smart Key fob in your pocket or purse, push the Power button, and you are ready to go. If the battery power is low, the gas engine may start instead, otherwise Prius will move on battery power alone. If Prius senses it needs more power than the battery can provide, the gas engine will take over. It also has Entune® App Suite, JBL® Audio, Navigation and more with the touch screen. One neat thing about this car is you push a button to park. It takes getting used to.
The car has so much room too! When you open the door, you’ll be greeted by an open and airy 5-passenger cabin with 42.5 inches of leg room up front and 36 inches in the rear.
Let's talk safety- It has 7 air bags! including driver and front passenger Advanced Airbag System, driver and front passenger seat-mounted side airbags, a driver knee airbag and front and rear side curtain airbags. Overall, we love the 2015 Toyota Prius! You can learn more that I didn't mention on their website! The 2015 Toyota Prius has $24,200 starting msrp.Visit the Toyota website to learn more information! *Thank you to Toyota for allowing us to test this vehicle for a week in return for this post*
