Visiting The Set Of Bizaardvark- A New Disney Channel Show #BizaardvarkEvent

Disclosure: The Small Things received an all expense paid trip to Los Angeles with Disney to cover the premier of Finding Dory and a press junket. All opinions are 100% my own and were not swayed in any way. 

While in Los Angeles the beginning of June, we had the chance to head to the set of a new Disney Channel Show called Bizaardvark. We were also given the chance to screen the first episode!

This show is hilarious and it is something that I will be watching with my daughter. Starring are Olivia Rodrigo (American Girl's "Grace Stirs Up Success") as Paige Olvera, Madison Hu ("Best Friends Whenever") as Frankie Wong, Jake Paul (YouTube Red's "Dance Camp") as the lovable and wild Dirk Mann, DeVore Ledridge as Southern DIY diva Amelia Duckworth, and Ethan Wacker ("Miles from Tomorrowland," "K.C. Undercover") as the overly-confident Bernard "Bernie" Schotz.

What is it about?

The live-action comedy follows Paige and Frankie, quirky best friends who write funny songs and create music comedy videos for their online channel, "Bizaardvark." Now with 10,000 subscribers, the girls are invited to produce videos at the influential Vuuugle Studios. In this cool environment -- and with the help of their friend and aspiring agent Bernie and fellow Vuuugle stars Dirk (of "Dare Me Bro!") and Amelia (of "Perfect Perfection with Amelia") -- the duo embark on comedic adventures in their quest to take the video blogging world by storm.

 Visiting the set was pretty amazing. We also had a chance to interview the cast- and you will see that in a later post.

It was neat seeing what they put together on screen. I will give you an example- the bedrooms are not full bedrooms. They are small portions and it is neat to see how they put that together for television! I was amazed!

As you can see, this gives you an example of what I was talking about. Check out one of the reasons that I laughed so hard in the first episode! This is "The Comeback Song"! SO FUNNY!

I think this how is great because generations these days are on social media and YouTube. This certainly grabbed my attention. This is something that no one has really done before and I give it two thumbs up!  I can't wait to tune in with my 9 year old! I will be tuning in via the Disney Channel on Friday, June 24th at 9:45PM, after the premier of Adventures In Babysitting!
