What Being Empowered Means To Me

What does EMPOWER mean? It means to make (someone) stronger and more confident, especially in controlling their life and claiming their rights. It also means to give (someone) the authority or power to do something..

Being empowered means so much to me. I am a work at home mom. I work on my own time, I am my own boss. I am my own person. I am free. That is what being empowered means to me. I have been working from home for 5 years now. I love it. In that time, I am also juggling being a wife and a mom. Being able to juggle that and do it makes me feel empowered.

I am my own person and free to make my own decisions and that also makes me feel empowered.  I am a confident person and that makes me feel empowered. An empowered person doesn't have to be a CEO, it doesn't have to be a celebrity. It can be YOU! 

I took a shower by myself without my child bugging me.. Making a decision on your own is what being empowered means to me as well.
