I have been MIA for several reasons! We went on a long journey to pick up our boat! Not any boat, we are living on this boat! Why? We are tired of paying rent. Brandon has always wanted to live on a boat. He sold me on the idea because to be honest, we are tired of paying rent and wanted something of our own that we could live within our means and still save money and be able to do fun things. Not to mention, we are young and we want to travel!

Our home is a bit older, and many would consider it "vintage". We bought a 1984 Wellcraft 3100 Sedan Cruiser. Here she is.

Our boat is a tri-cabin boat. We have two Mercruiser 350 5.7 liter engines in her. We are inboard. We have a kitchen with fridge, stove, sink, microwave, dining seating area. We also have a small livingroom with plenty of storage as well as a futon in it. We have a bathroom with na all in one shower in it with a toilet as well. We also have a bedroom with tons of storage and a closet. We are working on getting foam for the bed and in the meantime we sleep on the futon.

We brought this bad boy from Tuscaloosa, AL to Perdido, Florida. It took us 7 long days in the water to get her here.  I will share that journey later on in a different post. Oh my, what a journey it was! In the meantime, I am looking forward to bringing you boat item reviews and water related content! Any tips or tricks for new folks like us?
